Born & bred in Ireland, Fresh is proud of its 100% Irish roots.

The story of Fresh started nearly 10 years ago, when the very first Fresh supermarket opened its doors in Smithfield Village in Dublin 7.

When you walk through our doors, you’ll realise that you’re not walking into an ordinary supermarket. That’s because you’ll find a wide range of gourmet, fresh, exotic and speciality produce that you can’t buy in most ordinary supermarkets….that’s the ‘fresh’ difference.

In each of our five stores, we promise to deliver ‘value you can taste.’ We also promise that all our produce and suppliers, from Ireland and around the world, are carefully hand-picked.

Our teams in our stores, kitchens and support offices are our most important asset.

We want people as passionate as we are about food. We can’t be at our best without every member of the team playing their part and working hard. Through our extensive training and personal development programmes, we work with our people to help them grow in their positions and within the company.

We have a very successful record for in house promotion. The majority of our senior team have worked in several previous positions within the company and progressed onto higher roles.

As a company, we take our role in the community and environment really important.

Our Charity Partner for 2017/2018 is Crumlin Medical and Research Foundation (CMRF). We donate 50c from every Bag for Life our customer’s purchase which goes directly to the organisation.

We were the first retail partner for the One for Ireland campaign which to date has raised over €300,000 for youth organisations and causes throughout Ireland.

We work with our energy providers to ensure we only use 100% renewable energy.

Our waste management policies ensure we recycle as much of our waste and packaging as we can.

Through Foodcloud and direct relationships, we donate surplus food where and when we can to organisations that need it.
